Teaching and Developing CCI Co-Counselling

This workshop begins on the final day of CCI Europe 2023. Some people will be continuing from the main event, but it’s fine just to come for this workshop. You don’t need to be a ‘teacher’ to attend: any interested and active CCI co-counsellor is welcome.

Accommodation is in two lodges, which have 26 beds. Camping is possible (but not any cheaper). Full catering will be provided by the venue. This is an opportunity to explore all aspects of the teaching of co-counselling, including the running of core trainings and events, and also the way we maintain, develop, and share skills in our community.

We will address the practice of teaching CCI (what is taught and how is it done), and the structures in which teaching and learning take place. It is a place to share experiences, challenges, and hopes that contribute to the maintenance and development of CCI as a community of trained peers.

There may be questions around the way that teaching shapes the future CCI community, and the relationship between online and in-person teaching and practice. We hope for conversations between generations, and to encourage fresh ideas and perspectives from people who currently feel on the edges of the community.

Alcohol and drugs

THIS EVENT WILL BE ALCOHOL AND DRUG FREE. We ask you to refrain from using alcohol or drugs (except drugs you need for medical reasons) for the duration of the event. "Alcohol-free" beer or wine would be acceptable.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel after making your booking, we will attempt to refund your payment once it is clear that we have enough money to do that, which may not be until after the event has finished.
