Hello. I am Lilian Kennedy Brzoska. I have been a member of Co-counselling International for 28 years. I am a writer performer. I'm also a trained teacher of Speech& Drama for all and a Primary Teacher, as well as an accredited teacher with Co-counselling International.
I am offering to teach a Fundamentals of Co-counselling in A Kind of Magick, the Therapy Suite above The Merchant's Garden, in Kirkcaldy, Kingdom of Fife, Scotland. I hope to find a group of folk in Fife interested in learning the skills needed to explore creativity & Self Awareness for creative growth, as a peer group, within a peer group support network. Anyone from anywhere who would like to learn Co-counselling is welcome to the taster day. By the end of that day people will commit to do the course. there may be a second taster day on 9th February at the request of enough people.
We are beginning on 12th January 2013 at 10am with a free taster day to address the letting go of the old and the integration of the new, as we engage with this New Year 2013. We will work in two 4hr teaching and practice sessions. There will coffee breaks and a shared lunch. Tea and coffee will be supplied. Please bring food to share as part of a pot luck lunch. We will finish at 7pm. This will be followed by a further two weekends mid-February and a community integration day on 9th March 2013 which will be 10am - 5pm.
I shall be assisted in various ways by co-counsellors, Sheila Lochrie from Edinburgh & Geoff Rowe from Glasgow. Geoff has recently returned from The Netherlands and is looking forward to re-integrating into life in Scotland. Both are experienced co-counsellors willing to support new people learn and very compassionate, creative people.
The Full Course, including the taster day, is 40 hrs. Forty hours must be completed before access is given to the Community. If you cannot manage one of the dates we will negotiate a way to make sure you have covered the work before too long to allow the completion of your course. Practice is possible with Sheila in Edinburgh, Geoff in Glasgow and myself in Kirkcaldy.
Cost on a sliding scale £120 - £220 with possible payment in installments. Bursaries available on application to our Co-counselling International in Scotland Treasurer via me.
I can be contacted by interested parties by email on liliannakennedygmail [dot] com

Geoff, Sheila and I look forward to working in the Therapy Rooms and Workshop Space above The Merchant's Garden. Weather permitting we will also be in the garden and on the beach, as we help you explore and learn the techniques of Co-counselling both as Client and as Counsellor. We hope to eventually form the Fife Co-counselling Peer Group to support our creative growth and link us to the Co-counselling International Community and Scottish Network. After the Fundamentals is finished you are free to arrange shared time anywhere with other trained co-counsellors and work on your own agenda, with their peer support, free of any financial exchange.
You gain a life-long membership of a group of splendid people, world-wide, who share the skills which make co-counselling a life enhancing discipline for any individual, pair or group. This is an International Crucible for group work by agreement where time is equally shared. We look forward to meeting you.
