40 hour core training over 5 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) weekend days based in Bristol, England. Successful completion of this course opens the way to CCI membership and full participation in the community.  The course provides a safe space to give and receive empathetic listening; a toolkit for working on personal issues; skills in a listening and caring role, free of advice giving; an emphasis on appreciation rather than criticism; practice in celebrating strengths and achievements - and fun, warmth and nurturing activites.  Teachers: James Nichol and Elaine Knight.
