Chapter 5b. Program, Safety and Culture Setting

Set up and organisation of this Chapter.

Aspects of  facilitating safety come back when trying to integrate ‘safety' in program facilitation, for instance introducing trust persons in the opening circle or clear presentation of workshops. Next, in order to make the program and safety facilitation work, a good Culture setting is required. Hence, in order to integrate safety, program and culture setting these three elements of a workshop are brought together in this chapter.

To keep all these aspects integrated it is suggested to work with one team called the 'Program' team. Once agreed on the niceties and practicalities of the Workshop Safety philosophy the Program team can organise the Safety Team. This seems also the way the American CCI works.
