Being wrong or getting it wrong...

English

To get on with life creatively, we must lose our fear of being wrong. It is a thinking error anyway: having a shoe does not mean you are a shoe. Getting it wrong does not mean you are wrong. Anyway, it seems only the English language that puts people down for getting something wrong: "you are wrong". In German, Dutch and French that kind of linguistic constructions do not seem to exist.
