The centre is situated in a beautiful landscape next to two nature reserves; and just two minutes walk from St Andrew’s church, which has within its cemetery a yew tree over 1,700 years old. The seventeenth century farm buildings have been restored and specially converted for use as a venue. They are set within seven acres of fields and gardens.
The complex is based around a converted barn, with oak timbers, reed torching (lining the inside of the roof) and stone walls. The feeling is medieval, but with modern comforts such as under-floor heating and a large woodstove. The high roof and skylights create a light, airy atmosphere.
You have the joys of a hot tub and a sauna, delicious vegetarian food, walking up Dundon Hill (an iron-age hill fort) or Lollover Hill and the treat of visiting the alternative atmosphere of Glastonbury.
A range of rooms including the Dorm Room which sleeps 6, single, twin and double en-suite.
£280 for the Dorm room and Dairy. En-suite rooms at £305, Camping £253 and any other requirements including special diets, please contact Ken ken [dot] orchard2gmail [dot] com. A deposit of £60 will book you a place.

Four Days !!! From Thursday 3 May 6 pm to Monday 7 May 3 pm
Co-Counsellors living in Scotland are delighted to offer the McCoCo 2018 residential workshop. We are offering this exciting, international, challenging, supportive, fun space from Thursday evening 3 May to Monday 7 May. This will be the 20th! and last McCoCo residential workshop. The Monday is a Bank Holiday for everyone in the UK.
We have booked again the wonderful venue 25 miles from Edinburgh called Wiston Lodge. It is a magnificent 19th century Lodge house, set in its own extensive wooded grounds. There are several spaces suitable for different kinds of workshops including a hall for dancing and a big room for the opening circles. For more pictures of the venue, click here.
Since McCoCo 2010 we are inviting people to offer workshops in advance. This resulted in very exciting and well-prepared offerings and inspired even more spontaneously offered workshops! Co-counsellors registered with CoCoInfo, the CCI Co-Counselling web site, can view which exciting workshops have been offered beforehand in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and in 2014. There you can see how much innovation and inspiration McCoCo has been offering. For McCoCo 2018 we are going to this again. To view these workshops, you need to log in!
The actual workshop program is open and will be created by McCoCo's participants at the spot. For this we organise a CoCo Open Space. Anyone can offer a co-counselling workshop or ask for a topic group, massage, meditation and indeed anything what makes your and other people's heart sing. As well as participating in workshops and support groups or simply having co-counselling sessions you can choose to enjoy dancing, chatting with people from overseas in front of a log fire, walking in the lovely grounds or in the nearby Tinto hills etc.
Click here to find out how some people experienced McCoCo.
Afterwards, the 8th May, there is the McCoCo Conference 2018 near or in Edinburgh! '
New to Co-Counselling?
We extend an especially warm welcome to Co-Counsellors who have recently completed Fundamentals or who have not been to an event like this before. This event provides an opportunity for you to meet Co-Counsellors from throughout Scotland and beyond. We will offer a workshop especially for first-timers at the beginning of the workshop. We encourage also the forming of buddies.
No problem, the only requirements for having sessions is to be able
If you are able to do this, you will very quickly remember again what you have learnt earlier in Co-Counselling, especially when you experience the support, freedom and encouragement that McCoCo has on offer.
Scotland too far away or McCoCo difficult to travel to...?
As there are so many Co-Counsellors in Edinburgh we can possibly offer accommodation with Co-Counsellors in Edinburgh before and after McCoCo. Tick the relevant box on the booking form.
If in doubt, talk to Sheila Lochrie, 0131-557 2419 / 01479-851 308.

We welcome Donations to enable other people to attend.
Receipt of a £40 deposit or full payment per person, plus your printed or on-line booking form is acceptance of a booking.
Please send a stamped addressed envelope (S.A.E.) if you require confirmation of receipt of your deposit. Further details including a map will be sent a fortnight before the workshop.
Cancelation refunds (less deposit) will only be considered under exceptional circumstances, and with sufficient notice. If you don't turn up, we still have to pay for your place. So you will be liable for the full amount.

Once again, we invite you to come to Germany: From 21. – 27. July 2019, we will meet in Haus Ohrbeck in Georgsmarienhütte (near Osnabrück/Münster).
The venue is a former monastery where we were welcomed in 2014 already with great hospitality. It´s location at the edge of a village allows for walking and cycling, but makes it also conveniently reachable by public transport.
There will be more detailed information soon, and flyers in summer 2018.

Unstone Grange, Crow Lane, Unstone, S18 4AL. Website: unstonegrange.co.uk
Our venue is Unstone Grange. Nestling in five acres of grounds, Unstone is a secluded Victorian house and former coal baron's residence, rescued by a group of volunteers from the clutches of developers who wanted to turn it into flats. In 1996 it was bought by the newly-formed Unstone Grange Trust and its philosophy of 'Unity in Diversity' is interwoven throughout its work. It has become a jewel of sustainable community, run essentially by volunteers. Set in the lovely Derbyshire countryside, many groups such as ours use the atmosphere of Unstone, to express their creative spirit through many and varied forms. Unstone Grange is definitely a place to be – groups and individuals gather here to create for themselves a different time and space, away from the pressures of modern daily life.
Accommodation is in shared bedrooms (no bunk beds) and the main lounges are spacious and comfortable. The Grange is surrounded by its own organic gardens. The Grange can accommodate up to 38 people and accommodation is in single beds in 2, 3, 4, and 5- bedded rooms. Facilities include three group rooms, ten bedrooms, a large barn, camping field, lawns and grounds. We regret however, that this venue is not wheelchair accessible. There is parking space for cars. If you decide to join us, and we hope you will, more information will be sent to you on how to get here, shortly before the event.
You can book to stay in a shared room, camp in the camping field or attend non-residentially.
The event is fully catered on a wholesome, whole-food vegetarian basis. Please indicate special dietary requirements on the booking form.
We welcome children. We will try to provide child-care if viable. Please book early and/or encourage others with children to come to ensure a viable group.
