Co-Counselling events

I'm uploading a document called "Essential Skills to Participate in One CCI-USA Event". This was adopted by the USA CCI teachers and Community Committee in December 2013. It was provided by Gail Fuller following discussion at the 2021 CCI Europe Business Meeting on 26th July 2021.

As well as skills, it refers to CCI culture, and to accreditation. I note that it does not contain a complete list of the interventions commonly taught in current UK fundamentals.

Inspiring Workshops are coming to McCoCo 2014

Co-counselling events are more than places where I can do "work" on myself. They are also occasions where I meet good friends and where I can experience for a while living in a culture of care and acceptance that is so different from the world I am normally surrounded by.

Time and again Co-Counsellors express the wish to get more people involved in Co-Counselling.

During my thirty years of involvement I have seen co-counselling numbers go down and the co-counselling population ageing. Even in the alternative health world co-counselling is not taken seriously anymore: recently an alternative health festival in the Netherlands refused Co-Counselling the opportunity to present itself.
